Bullet journaling saved my life. Ok, that’s a really strong statement and I mean it in the most dramatic way. But it did. I was functioning between multiple planners in the most inefficient way. And then I discovered the flexibility that the weekly spreads offer in bullet journals and I was hooked.
Customizing your weekly spreads allows you to have the freedom and flexibility to plan anything from homeschool lessons to your blogs editorial calendar all in the same space. When I started out, my weekly spreads would be PAGES long. Like 4 pages of weekly spread. Since then, I’ve cut it down to be more succinct and what I need.
Bullet Journal Weekly Spreads
One of my favorite tools to use in a weekly spread is a Dutch Door. If you’re new to this planning thing, when I say Dutch Door you may think of the nifty piece of furniture that allows you to peek in on your kids without letting them out of the room. Genius invention, right? Well so is the Dutch Door in a weekly spread. It allows you to add lots of nifty information without the commitment of adding thousands of pages.
