I know that I continue to mention that Fall is one of my favorite seasons and it’s mainly for the clothes and the activities. I mean, I love apples and all the goodness that you can create with them but I also love looking good while I’m reaching up and grabbing them ha! When it comes to children, their Fall wardrobe is even more important because these guys are fickle pickles and are trying to get across that their opinions matter.

Building a Fall Wardrobe

Naturally the first thing that comes to mind with this Fall wardrobe is stylish but that’s not all that matters!

Creating Cute Layers

From the time that mini was a baby, I learned that layering was such a key element with creating any of her seasonal wardrobe. We did this with Carter’s bodysuits. I chose Carter’s because of the way that their bodysuits grow with the baby’s. Growing up, I remember that my mom would tuck my shirts in so tightly to make sure the wind didn’t make it’s way to my skin and the bodysuits helped to ensure that I kept mini sick free when she was smaller and now abc.

After starting with the base layer of either the bodysuit or their undershirts, you can create so many looks with just a few items. Here I pieced together this beautiful woven dress, which can be worn alone during the warmer times, with a denim shirt and boots.

Choosing Versatile Pieces

My goal is to pick about 10 pieces per season that can be worn interchangeably. One of my favorite things about Carter’s is that they do a great job of putting together ready to buy outfits. For abc, I got these cute overalls with this gauze top paired with some faux suede flats but then the gauze top pairs perfectly with these fringe leggings and boots as well! Versatility is key!

Choosing Quality over Quantity

I’m supreme bargain hunter because as a once single mother now married mom of two GIRLS, I don’t believe in spending an arm and a leg on some clothes that they’ll eventually grow out of. But this is why I love the price point of Carter’s—I don’t break the bank and I get incredibly quality. I used to wonder how kids kept their clothes stain free and it’s not that they do, it’s that the clothes are a great quality so they wash well.

Creating A Fall Wardrobe With Carter’s

It’s no new information that I’m a lover of Carter’s. Last year when they announced that they would be increasing their sizes to support bigger kids, I was incredibly excited about that. I have two girls that I want to keep as young as I can and Carter’s helps me do that along with my own crafting. They have the most stylish, versatile, and age-appropriate clothing for little girls that I never have to worry about if shorts are too short for my long-legged mini or if it’s girly enough for my princess abc.

Wild And Free Collection

When I went shopping for abc, I saw this collection and immediately loved it. I felt like it was such a celebration of little girls being wild and free in a world that can be so restrictive. Naturally I got a lot of these pieces because my girls are the very embodiment of being wild and free.

Little Girls Boots

The boot collection has me wishing that it went to my size. Seriously. They have the cutest moccasins that I’ll be using this here coupon for because, mama likes to save!
