Mother’s Day seems to sneak up on me every year. Yes, even as a mom I never quite feel prepared for it. I know it’s coming up on the 2nd Sunday of May every year and yet I’m always like “oh snap… Mother’s Day is this weekend!” Because I’m not the only one this can pop up on, I’ve put together a gift list for us children who love our moms and have waited for the last minute to get Mother’s Day Gifts.
Last-Minute Mother’s Day Gifts Every Mom Will Enjoy
Gift Card For Harmony Trace Apothecary
Harmony Trace Apothecary is an eCommerce store owned by my family and I. We sell candles, stationery, and things that really are both beautiful and {mostly} sustainable. My favorites are the bags. They are made with scrap fabrics and no two are alike. We have something for everyone there.
Book A Night At A Hotel
Parenthood is overwhelming period but motherhood can be especially overstimulating. Having a night to just be off, not have all the answers, not make the plans, and be able to veg out on Netflix with favorite snacks that she doesn’t have to share is truly priceless.
Do The Target Challenge Mom-Style
Didn’t get her a gift? No worries. Take her to Target and do the challenge that was once really big on TikTok. Everyone goes into Target and thinking of mom you buy the following:
- Her favorite color
- Her favorite snack
- Her favorite drink
- Something that reminds you of her
- An everyday thing she would use
And she gets to partake too! If you do this, tag me on IG or TikTok at @ aaronicabcole.
Make Her Brunch And Let Her Relax
Take the kids somewhere and just let her be. Feed her, make her bottomless mimosas and let her run the TV remote or whatever hobby that fills her heart with glee. For me it’s sewing and knitting and for the mom in your life it may be something else. Whatever it is, let her enjoy it without the love of you and the kids.
Have a Picnic
If she loves being outdoors, plan a picnic for her. While it’s a little too late to book picnic companies (yes, these exist), you can still set one up for the mom in your life. All it takes is some sandwiches, snacks and drinks!
