Can you believe that Christmas is already right around the corner? It feels like it was just yesterday that I was making my New Year Resolutions and now we’re making Christmas lists. It never fails that every year my husband asks me what I want for Christmas. Outside of the fact that I think he should know what I want (they are mind readers, right?) what I want, money can’t buy. In this past year, we’ve completed 1 year of marriage, made some drastic lifestyle changes, and have two incredibly busy children that require lots of energy and patience. With all this happening in our lives, sometimes it’s hard for us to connect so all I want for Christmas is him.
Marriage can equal complacency in the intimacy department. We forget that the dating phase is never supposed to stop and that we should always be looking for ways to be creative in connecting with our spouses. Intimacy is no different.
