At least there’s a payment plan for the braces 😩😩😩

After a bunch of lights turned on in my new (to me) car, i brought it into @stonecresthonda to see what was going on. Let me just say that Kimberly gave the best customer service. But whew. When she called to tell me what was going on, she said the mechanic said my car was too dangerous to drive. Then she sent over the estimate and I was basically like, I don’t even need a car. About $9k in issues on a car we bought 3 months ago AFTER being given the run around on my last car that was eventually totaled out. I have an extended warranty so say a prayer that they take care of most of it 😫😫😫

I finally took Mini to the orthodontist (which I loved) and your girl needs braces PLUS surgery towards the end of the 24mos she has to wear them. But the payment plan is under $150/mo which is really good IMO.

Surgery is Monday and they called me telling me I had to pay $891 before then and I still have to get all my scripts filled. As if @teachable (don’t use them AT ALL) owing me a $1500 refund they’re dragging their feet on isn’t enough, now I’ve got to figure out how to stop our pockets from bleeding out.

I need an Angel investor and a GoFundMe or something 🥺🥺🥺 I couldn’t keep my tears in so I broke down in front of my parents. Now I’m sitting in the sun trying to recenter, recalibrate and get my life together when all I want to do is wave my 🏳️ 🏳️🏳️and surrender.

Today I did a photoshoot to honor my boobs with a bye bye boobie photoshoot.

I have a lot of words and can’t wait to take some moments to really share what this has meant to me. Not just the photoshoot, not just the party, but all of it.

Before sharing that I am #brca2positive, I was a mess. I was crying and mourning in between moments of happiness and I felt alone. The amount of support that I’ve received since sharing has been incredible. People have shared experiences, resources, love and words can’t express how grateful I am.

It’s only fitting that I wore my @messinabottle sweatshirt to prepare. I can’t wait to share the photos!!!!

Surgery is less than 2 weeks away and today I met with my plastic surgeon to make sure I’m prepped for my double mastectomy. **Spoiler alert: I am.

Last weekend I had a Boobvoyage party that filled my cup and pulled my heart strings. Thursday I have a photoshoot with @bryttanyvictoria of @moments.withb to honor my breasts.

Then I have a week of nothing planned to rest, relax, and finish getting ready for the first surgery of a couple since testing positive for the #BRCA2 gene mutation.

I’m ready for this part of my adventure!

I wonder which memories will make a big enough imp

I wonder which memories will make a big enough impact on him that he’ll tell his friends, spouse, kids.

Will it be the times he plays in my office as I’m working? The mommy-son dates to @joann_stores and @freddysusa? Or maybe it’s the times when he was too big for my lap but I pulled him in anyways when he clearly needed a cuddle.

Knowing I’m predisposed to cancer really puts things into perspective for me with the time I spend with my littles…

Every second we spend in the world counts. Time to live like it.
